25. Holy Mole Steak Mole, Creme Caramel con Cafe, Jicama salad, Grilled Pinapple & Carrots, Stuffed Hashbrowns

This collection of dinner recipes for two steps up Steak Mole’s flavor with Tex-Mex influence and scratch preparation. It involves bacon, beer, a touch of dark chocolate and other tasty things!

On the side are stuffed hashbrowns with grilled pineapple and carrots.  For dessert, a flan that tastes much like a cinnamon caramel latte.

Mole is a decadent savory sauce that is a staple in mexican cuisine, but unless you are eating in a really nice place, the mole is lackluster and often sweet and doused with way too much chocolate. This recipe may not be “authentico”, but who cares? It’s worth every bite!

Inspired by Latin American and Southwest American flavors.
